1. What Affluma provides
Affluma offers editorial affirmation collections and tools for personal reflection, including a phrase builder, saved sets, challenges, wallpaper creation and audio options. Core visitor features are free and do not require a paid account or subscription. Advertising may support public editorial pages. An optional feature may depend on device support, availability, reasonable usage limits or the built-in locally hosted voice engines.
The phrase tools match selected topics to published public articles and let you collect and edit their affirmations. Available suggestions depend on the articles currently published; a specific combination may have no matches. You may also write your own words. Personalization does not mean that we have assessed your health, personality or circumstances. We do not promise a particular outcome or offer emergency support. You choose whether a phrase is appropriate and may edit, reject or stop using it.
2. Who may use the service
The service is intended primarily for adults and is not directed at children under 13. Older minors should have appropriate parent or guardian involvement and permission where required. Do not provide information you do not have the right to share. If you are using the service for someone else, respect their choices and privacy rather than presenting suggested wording as an assessment of them.
3. Your choices and responsibilities
Use Affluma in a lawful way that respects other people and the availability of the website. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, defeat usage limits, manipulate reaction counts, send spam, distribute malicious code, impersonate another person or interfere with the service. Do not use a recording or another person’s words to mislead others about who is speaking or what they endorse.
Do not enter another person’s confidential information into a form or shared download without an appropriate basis. Your device and browser may keep local copies. On a shared device, review saved material and remove it when needed. Keep a separate backup of anything important; browser storage is not a guaranteed archive.
4. Your words and recordings
You keep the rights you already have in text and recordings you create. Using the local builder or recording tool does not transfer ownership of your personal material to Affluma. We do not require a general publishing license for material that remains in your browser, and the tools do not automatically publish your recordings or edited sets.
If you choose to send a contact message, we may process it to handle that request. The built-in voice engines process selected text on your device when you choose to preview or create audio. Journal entries, personal photo backgrounds and private challenge wording are not automatically published. If you share a file with someone else, the receiving service and recipient may have their own terms. Those choices are separate from saving a file locally.
5. Permission to use Affluma content
Subject to these terms and any separately stated license, you may read our original content and use the available tools and downloads for your own personal, noncommercial practice. You may share an individual wallpaper or a small selection of original affirmation phrases for personal, noncommercial encouragement, with a credit to Affluma and a link where practical. Do not imply that Affluma, an author or a voice provider endorses you or a product.
This permission does not allow copying or republishing the whole website or a substantial collection, scraping the library to sell it, redistributing our background collection as a competing asset pack, or reselling our original templates as your own. Ask hello@affluma.com about uses beyond the permission described here. These restrictions do not take away rights in your own original writing and recordings, rights granted under a separate open-source license, or exceptions available under applicable law. We do not claim exclusive ownership of everyday words or general ideas.
6. Audio and personal backgrounds
The built-in voice engines provide synthetic English voices running in compatible browsers. These are voice styles, not endorsements by the people suggested by a voice name. Generation may be slow or unavailable on a device with limited resources. Sound-presence presets adjust audio processing; they do not promise a therapeutic or emotional response.
Record only material you have the rights and permissions to use. Microphone access is optional, and recording starts only when you choose it. This is not a voice-cloning service. Review audio and achievement images before sharing. Original music beds are included for use with your practice downloads.
You may choose a personal image for a temporary wallpaper background. You remain responsible for having permission to use and share it. Selecting an image does not grant us permission to publish it. Open-source software and model components retain their separate licenses and notices.
7. Saved items, challenges and the app
Favorites, named sets, selected preferences, recordings saved on the device and practice progress are stored locally as explained in the Privacy Policy. They are not an account, a cloud backup or a promise of synchronization between devices. Clearing data, uninstalling an app, changing browsers, device failure or automatic browser storage management may remove them.
Challenges are optional practice structures. Completing a day or keeping a streak is not a requirement or a measure of personal success. Offline pages are copies that may be out of date. Reconnect to see the current website, and do not assume that every tool or download will work offline.
Notifications are optional and require browser permission. Delivery can be delayed or unavailable because of browser settings, connectivity or website scheduling. They are gentle reminders, not an alarm, emergency service or guaranteed delivery channel. Calendar reminders follow your calendar provider’s behavior.
8. Advertising, links and communications
Public pages may display identified advertising or sponsored placements. A placement does not guarantee a product’s quality, accuracy or suitability. We do not control an external website or its transactions. Review the provider’s terms and privacy information before using it.
Contact messages are welcome for questions, corrections and accessibility feedback. Do not send urgent requests through this channel. A response time is not guaranteed. Sending a message does not establish a professional advisory relationship.
9. Availability, mistakes and responsibility
We may maintain, update, replace or discontinue features and may restrict activity that is unlawful, abusive or threatens the website. We aim to correct reported mistakes, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, compatibility with every device or preservation of local files.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a promise of fitness for a particular purpose or a guaranteed result. Responsibility for loss is subject to the circumstances and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, removes mandatory consumer protection, limits a right that law does not allow us to limit, or requires you to waive a statutory remedy. The Disclaimer should be read within those same limits.
10. Changes and questions
We may revise these terms when the service or its operation changes. The version presented here applies to future use, subject to any notice or agreement required by applicable law. A change does not remove rights that have already arisen. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
If something is unclear, contact hello@affluma.com before using the relevant feature. The protections and remedies available under applicable law remain in place.
