Information you choose to provide
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject, message, and submission time. We use this information to respond to your request and maintain a record of the enquiry. Email delivery involves our hosting and email providers. Please do not submit sensitive personal information.
Contact retention
Contact messages are normally retained in the site inbox for 90 days by default, or for the period configured by the operator. Scheduled cleanup may run later if the site has no traffic or its scheduled tasks are paused. The inbox retention policy does not automatically delete copies in email accounts or hosting backups. Ask us about deletion through the contact page.
Your personal affirmation practice
Builder answers and generated phrases are processed in your browser. The builder does not send them to an AI service. Saved affirmations and article bookmarks are stored in local storage on your device only when you choose to save them. Anyone using that browser profile may see them. You can clear them from the saved page or your browser settings. Clearing browser data removes them and they do not sync between devices.
Technical information
The server must process connection information to deliver pages. Hosting services may retain access logs, including IP addresses. The contact form uses short-lived hashed network identifiers for spam prevention. Administrative login and WordPress features may use essential cookies.
Advertising and choices
The built-in advertising feature records aggregate daily impressions and available clicks. It does not set analytics cookies or build visitor profiles. These counts are approximate, and a short-lived hashed network identifier can limit abuse. Optional embedded third-party advertisements are held until you choose to load them; those providers may receive connection information and use their own storage or tracking. You can withdraw the browser choice using the Unload sponsored content control. Withdrawal prevents subsequent loading but cannot reverse data already received by a provider.
External links
Visiting an advertiser or another website makes that provider responsible for its own data practices. We do not control their policies.
Your requests
You can request access, correction, or deletion of contact information using the contact page. Rights and exceptions depend on your location and applicable law. We may need to confirm ownership of an email address before acting. We do not intentionally ask children to provide personal information; a parent or guardian may request removal.
Policy updates
We update this page when our actual features or practices change. The operator should list any additional analytics, advertising, hosting, or email providers here before enabling them.
Optional website usage analytics
If the operator enables usage analytics, Affluma records aggregate events such as page views, reading milestones and tool use. It does not store your questionnaire answers, saved phrases, raw search queries, full referrer URLs, or raw IP addresses in its analytics tables. Short-lived hashed network keys limit repeat counts. These totals are approximate and do not identify unique visitors. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. The default analytics retention is 90 days and can be changed by the operator. Visit Privacy choices to opt this browser out.
Challenges
Challenge progress is saved locally only when you choose to start a practice. You can reset it in the challenge controls or remove browser storage. There is no cross-device account or cloud backup.
Named sets and reading preferences
If you choose to save a personal set, its wording, question choices, and name stay in your browser storage. You can export a JSON backup or remove named sets from the builder. Reader layout and text-size preferences also stay on this device. Backups include your personal wording, so store them where you are comfortable. Clearing site storage removes local saves and preferences.
